A mix of volcanic and sedimentary soils. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Shy aromas of cherry and underbrush lead to a mouth filling array of cherry and berry flavors alongside a rocky minerality. Nicely balanced, with fine-grain tannins, a soothing, luxurious mouthfeel, and a cherry driven finish. Enters a little better than it finishes. Score: 90. Reviewed June 25, 2017
