2015 Briceland Vineyards Humboldt County Chardonnay

13.5% alc., 161 cases, $25. 40% Rhonda’s and 60% Ishi Pishi Ranch vineyards. Organically grown grapes. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks (no oak contact). Full malolactic fermentation. · Light platinum yellow color in the glass. Very slight reduction initially. Aromas of green apple, lemon zest and white floral blossoms. Lean and steely in style, with flavors of lemon, pear and apple and a slight flint and green pepper note. Score: 88. Reviewed November 12, 2017
