Barrel fermented and aged 16 months in French oak barrels, 25% new, with lees stirring every two weeks. · Moderate golden yellow color in the glass. Seductive aromas of citrus peel and sea breeze captivate. Noticeable energy and vibrancy, offering bright flavors of citrus, apple, butterscotch and the briny hint of the sea. The mouthfeel is supple and cleansing rather than oily. Sophisticated and pleasing in every way, except there is a hint of alcoholic warmth. Score: 93. Reviewed July 21, 2018
