12.5% alc., 350 cases, $40. Aged 8 months in French oak barrels and concrete egg vat. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Aromas of espresso, black cherry, raspberry and earthy flora. Mid weight flavors of black cherry and toasty oak in a polished style with mouth filling mid palate presence, finishing long with generous cherry goodness. Less oak overlay is evident when the wine was tasted the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Score: 89. Reviewed November 17, 2018
