A very savory nose initial with aromas of earthy flora, tobacco, creosote and dark berries. Velvety in the mouth offering mid weight flavors of black raspberry and blueberry with an animale character. When tasted the followed day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle, the wine was less savory and more fruity with a very pleasing finish of uncommon length. Score: 90. Reviewed July 8, 2019
