Game of Thrones wines are the official wines of the HBO series and include an Oregon Pinot Noir and Central Coast Chardonnay released in the spring of · Light ruby red color in the glass. Aromas of red cherry, sandalwood and botanical lead to a lighter styled wine offering darker red berry and stone fruit flavors permeated by an underlying vegetative and smoky note that was unpleasant. Gracious and juicy with a mild tannic grip on the short finish. Not nearly as good as the HBO show. Score: 85. Reviewed July 8, 2019
