Estate grown from the organically farmed Résonance Vineyard that was planted on ungrafted rootstock in 1981. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The nose appeals with aromas of red cherry, strawberry, sandalwood and graham. Light to mid weight in style, offering a core of dark red cherry fruit accented with savory herbs and earthiness. Very French in tone, with savory characters dominating fruit notes. The muscular tannins impart an astringent finish. Score: 88. Reviewed July 8, 2019
