Both black cherry and blackberry fruits and botanical elements for the mid-weight core of this wine that exhibits noticeable tannins creating a modicum of astringency on the finish. Considerably more appealing when sampled the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle with more fruit to the forefront and tannins to the rear. Score: 91. Reviewed May 25, 2020
