Exhibiting gentle hedonism on the palate in a mid-weight style, with striking flavors of black cherry, blackberry and Dr. Pepper with the fruit veering to full ripeness. Merged tannins, a shadow of oak in the background, and an earthiness that emerges on the long finish leaves a good impression. Score: 94. Reviewed August 22, 2021
