2019 J. Cage Cellars Van der Kamp Vineyard Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir 14.4% alc., pH 3.75, TA 0.55, 213 cases, $54. Released December 2020. A blend of six clones. Aged in French oak barrels, 25% new. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Aromas of dusty black cherry, rose petal, chalk and musty herb garden. A middleweight style with a juicy core of black cherry fruit. Polished in the mouth, with modest tannins and a dry, earthy finish. Score: 91. Reviewed November 14, 2021
