14.4% alc., pH 3.91, TA 0.56, $55. Aged 16 months in French oak barrels, 40% new. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The nose features very ripe purple and black fruits with hints of orange peel, pipe smoke, sweet compost and floral lift. Noticeably muscular tannins initially frame the mid-weight core of dark cherry, blueberry and pomegranate fruit flavors. More refined, with less evident tannins and a noticeably long finish when tasted the following day. Score: 90. Reviewed May 26, 2022
