13.5% alc., $22. Produced for Rubeus Vineyards by Henri de Villamont, negociant Savigny-Les-Beaune. Imported by WX Imports, Novato, CA. (Purchased at a supermarket). · Ripe cherry and red raspberry scents lead to sweet and soft red fruit flavors that are enhanced by subtle oak. The tannins are fine-grained and there is plenty of cleansing acidity. Simple and straightforward, but an appealing drink. Reviewed October 14, 2007
