1970 Domaine Henri Gouges Les Pruliers

A less-heralded vintage but a delightful wine. Orange-brown in color, lightly fruited with secondary notes of old book, leather, cigar box, toast and brioche with no noticeable tannins and lively acidity on the finish. Reviewed April 18, 2009
