14.8% alc., $55. · Moderately dark reddish-purple color in the glass. Very modest and shy nose slowly revealing delicate aromas of cherry cobbler, dark red berry jam and oak over time. Mouth-filling core of sweet blackberry, black currant and black cherry fruit wrapped in modest tannins, finishing with a thrust of intensely flavored fruit. Good. Reviewed October 2, 2012
