2010 Littorai Hirsch Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

13.1% alc., $60. · Light reddish-purple color in the glass. Takes awhile to open in the glass, revealing aromas of black cherries, dried rose petals and sweet pipe smoke. Lightly endowed with cherry and raspberry flavor picking up some intensity over time in the glass. Very silky with supple tannins. A bit lean and under-ripe. Unchanged the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Good. Reviewed January 19, 2013
