Powerful aromatics offering scents of dark red berry preserves, sandalwood and tea leaf, picking up intensity over time in the glass. A very graceful wine with considerable charm, exhibiting intense flavors of black cherries, blueberries and plum which expand in the mouth and finish with remarkable persistence. Very flavorful, yet modest in weight, with good integration of acidity and tannins. A complete wine. Very good. Reviewed January 19, 2013
