This wine shows a heavy oak topcoat that is currently burying the luscious and markedly intense dark red fruit core. A middleweight wine with restrained tannins and balancing acidity, that will benefit from more time in bottle to fully integrate the oak. That said, this wine displays a remarkably fleshy fruit profile. Good. Reviewed June 4, 2013
