2011 Sandler Wine Co. Boer Vineyard Chalone Pinot Noir

13.7% alc.. · Moderately dark reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of chocolate covered cherries, root beer and soy sauce. Delicious core of cherry pie glaze, hitting the mid palate with a vengeance and finishing with good intensity. A hint of chocolate brownie adds interest. Very soft in the mouth and easy to cozy up to. Very good. Reviewed July 21, 2013
