12.5% alc., pH 3.61, TA 0.55, 308 cases (40 cases left), $68, screwcap. Clones 114, 115, 667, 777 and “828.” 50% whole cluster fermentation. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Hi-tone scents of Bing cherry, baking spices, savory herbs and sandalwood. More savory and herbal than the 2011 vintage which is more fruit driven. Very elegant and smooth, with a delicious array of red cherry and berry fruits that offer good intensity on the mid palate and length on the broad finish. Score: 92. Reviewed July 19, 2014
