Clones 667 and “828.” Aged 15 months in 100% French oak barrels, 18% new. · Moderately light cherry red color in the glass. Quite fragrant with scents of cherry, red berry and spice. Lighter weighted flavors of red cherry and berry with a slight confected bent, complimented by a note of baking spice and toasty oak. The wine is forward, juicy and likable, with modest tannins, and a cherry-driven finish. Score: 88. Reviewed July 12, 2015
