Initial aromas of black cherry, blueberry and blackberrypomegranate give way to more oak overlay with time in the glass. Very luscious and super-ripe fruited with top notes of cola, dark chocolate, expresso and tobacco engaging the deep black cherry core. The wine is plush on the palate with submerged tannins, displaying a sense of lip warmth on the finish. Score: 88. Reviewed March 12, 2016
