Native yeast fermentation, aged in French oak barrels, and bottled unfined. · Moderately light cherry red color in the glass. Very ripe fruited profile with aromas of blueberry and blackberry, and mid weight, ultra ripe flavors of blackest cherry, blackberry and blueberry-pomegranate. A bit earthy with a mushroom note. The wine picks up interest with more nuance over time in the glass, finishing with a juicy and oak-kissed, cherry-driven finish. Score: 91. Reviewed March 12, 2016
