Native yeast fermentation, aged in French oak barrels. · Moderately light cherry red color in the glass. Aromas of cherry, leather, sandalwood and raisin lead to a mid weighted wine with a core of dark red cherry and berry fruits and a top note of smoky oak. Modest tannins, juicy acidity and redeeming elegance with some power on the slightly warm finish. Score: 89. Reviewed March 12, 2016
