This is only the fifth time this barrel selection from multiple vineyards has been offered since Cristom was established in 1992. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. Haunting and exotic aromas of spiced black cherry and pine sap. A rainbow of purple and black fruits are accented with spice and floral notes in a gutsy style that offers ripe, honed tannins, unusually intense and caressing mid palate presence, and exceptional, even extraordinary length on the finish that is like a three-hour movie you don’t want to end.
