14.1% alc., pH 3.29, TA 0.68, 400 cases, $50. Released May 2016. Sourced in part from the historic Paris Tasting Block at Goddard Ranch (old Wente clone). Aged 8 months in 40% new French oak barrels. · Moderate golden yellow color and clear in the glass. Aromas of lemon curd, spice, steel and petrol lead off. Soft and pleasingly smooth on the palate, with a luscious core of lemon, pineapple, peach, butterscotch and toast that won’t let go on the finish that is blessed with a cleansing cut of clean acidity.
