530 cases, $70. Calera and 777 clones. 50% whole cluster fermented. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Lovely nose replete with scents of cherry, spice and rose petal. It’s love at first sip with this ripe and succulent middleweight styled wine with flavors of blueberry and plum and a subtle savory thread. More tannin in this wine as you would expect from the whole cluster inclusion, but the tannin is harmoniously supportive. Score: 93-94. Reviewed June 19, 2016
