Deeply aromatic with soaring aromas of black cherry, pomegranate and sandalwood. Intense on the attack, expansive on the mid palate, and generous on the finish in a mid weighted style that features flavors of black cherry and blackberry with a thread of oak in the background. Juicy, vibrant and velveteen in texture with more lift and energy in this vintage. The finish is notable for its expressive cherry theme and length. Score: 93. Reviewed June 19, 2016
