Clones D2V5, D5V12, 115, MV6, and 777. Soils is sandy loams and red volcanic clay. Yield 1 ton per acre. Aged in 25% new French oak barrels. Winemaker is Geraldine McFaul. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. This is a cherry-driven wine with accents of dark raspberry, sarsaparilla, briar and rose petal. Light to mid weight and very elegant, with well-managed, dry tannins. This is a very comforting wine that held up nicely over two days after opening. Score: 90.
