Adler Fels

Founded in the Sonoma Valley in 1979 by David and Ayn Coleman. The winery became known for Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürtztraminer and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. Over time they expanded to produce varietal wines from Napa Valley and other appellations throughout California. Adler Fels is now owned by the Adams Wine Group.

The Adler Fels winery sits at 1,500 feet above Sonoma Valley in the Mayacamas Mountains of Northern California. The architecture is distinctive, featuring turrets, towers and Tudor-style flourishes. Adler Fels also operates a winery in Santa Rosa. The wineries are not open to the public.

Harry Parducci, Jr. is the Director of Winemaking & Production. He is a third generation member of one of Sonoma Valley's pioneering winemaking families. His grandfather established Valley of the Moon Winery in 1939.

The winery produces Adler Fels estate wines as well as negociant brands including Alterra (Carneros Pinot Noir), Big Ass, Coastline Coyote Creek, and Leaping Lizard. The winery's 2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir won the Sweepstakes Award at the 2009 Sonoma County Harvest Fair.
