Greg Graziano is the third-generation winemaker and winegrower who owns Graziano Family of Wines which sprung from Domaine Saint Gregory in 2003. The Graziano family has been making wine and growing grapes in Mendocino County since 1918, when Vincenzo Grazaiano emigrated from Northwestern Italy to Mendocino's Redwood Valley. Greg Graziano began his winemaking career in 1976 as the founding partner and winemaker for the Milano Winery in Hopland. In 1986, he became the winemaker for La Crema Winery. In 1988, he started his own winery, Domaine Saint Gregory. The four labels under the Graziano Family of Wines now include Saint Gregory (Burgundian varietals), Monte Volpe (red varietals of Tuscany), Enotria (wines of Piedmonte), and Graziano (Zinfandel and Petite Sirah). Graziano was the first producer of Pinot Grigio in California. Zinfandel is the flagship wine.
A tasting room in downtown Hopland is open daily from 10:00 to 5:00.
