A family owned single vineyard site in the heart of Central Otago, New Zealand. The name comes from a prominent local landmark revered as a venue for courting couples, and now proudly stands in the middle of the vineyard. Pinot Noir specialist that has won many awards and has been featured in the media. A popular place for marriage proposals and weddings.
The 40-acre vineyard was planted mainly to Pinot Noir in 2002 in the town of Cromwell. The first vintage was 2005.
The wines, which include a Blanc de Noir and Rosé are crafted by Carol Bunn at the nearby Vinpro facility in Cromwell. Unfortunately there is no exportation to the United States at present. The cellar door is open daily for tasting.
