The 35-acre Zotovich Vineyard sits in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, just off Highway 246, located between Melville and Foley. The vineyard supplies fruit for Brewer-Clifton, Palmina, Paul Lato, Tyler and Barrel 27. Small lots of estate wine are vinified by Ryan Zotovich under the Zotovich Cellars label. Ryan has a degree in viticulture and enology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has worked as assistant winemaker at Palmina and Sea Smoke. The consulting winemaker initially was Steve Clifton of Brewer-Clifton.
300 cases of estate Pinot Noir were produced in 2007. In 2009, both an Estate and Estate Reserve Pinot Noir were produced as well as an Estate Syrah and Chardonnay.
The wine is sold directly on the website and through limited retail distribution. Direct sales and tasting are available in the winery's tasting room in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto.
