A new project launched with the 2007 vintage by Anne Moller-Racke and Timothy Mott, with the help of winemaker Kenneth Juhasz, based on a 7-acre Pinot Noir vineyard planted in the backyard of Anne Moller-Racke, the owner of The Donum Estate. The name comes from the blue 1880 Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse on the property where Anne resides. The vineyard is planted to a mixture of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay clones.
Moller-Racke came to Carneros inn 1981 work at the family's Buena Vista Winery. She managed almost 1,000 acres and was instrumental in creating the Carneros Wine Alliance. Buena Vista was sold in 2001, and the Racke family split off 200 acres and launched The Donum Estate. Also, Moller-Racke purchased the Robert Stemmler brand and revitalized this label. She also currently manages the 20-acre Ferguson Vineyard in Carneros and the 11-acre Nugent Vineyard in the Russian River Valley.
In 2013, Blue Farm released a "Laceroni" Russian River Valley Chardonnay, an "Anne Katherina Carneros Pinot Noir, and a "King Ridge" Fort Ross-Seaview Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
