Lelo and Bob Kerivan launched Bridgeview in 1986, when they converted a 75-acre field in Southern Oregon's Illinois Valley to cool climate grapes. The estate's 120-acre vineyard follows the banks of Sucker Creek.
The winery has been highly successful, most famous for their line of "Blue Moon" Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Production capacity is 100,000+ cases of a full portfolio of estate-grown and regionally sourced wines, making Bridgeview one of the largest wineries in Oregon. Lelo and Bob still run the operation and Lelo's son, Rene Eichmann, crafts the wines. Rene Jr. is continuing the family's winemaking tradition. A Reserve Pinot Noir is offered under the Black Beauty label.
Visitors to Bridgeview Winery can taste daily and picnic on the estate, while enjoying views of landscaped gardens and pristine lakes. Bridgeview has its own bed and breakfast lodge, the Kerbyville Inn.
