The Rueds were a grape growing family in Switzerland. In 1882, Henry Rued, who had left Switzerland six years earlier, planted grapevines in Sonoma County. Six generations and more than 125 years later, the Rued family continues to farm grapes at their Home Estate in Dry Creek Valley as well as vineyards in Russian River Valley and Alexander Valley. They also produce small lots of wine under their own label.
Several varietals are produced including a Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. The wines are sold through the winery's online store on the website. A tasting room at 3850 Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg is open daily.
