Estate grown Pinot Noir from Jamieson Canyon in southern Napa Valley. The first vineyard was planted in 1983, the winery established in 1991, and owner Ken Nerlove farms the vineyards and makes the wines. The name derives from Elkhorn Peak Mountain, the tallest mountain in Jamieson Canyon and located directly behind the vineyards. There are two estate vineyards planted to Pinot Noir: Fagan Creek Vineyard (first vineyard planted in Jamieson Canyon in 1983 but replanted in the 1990s due to phylloxera) and the 10-acre Vineyard 38 which was developed in 1997. Both vineyards are south facing with views of San Pablo and San Francisco Bay.
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rosé are offered.
