Boissett Collection is France's third largest wine group. Total United States annual production is well over 600,000 cases. The lineup of California-based Boisset wineries includes Amberhill Wines, Buena Vista Winery, DeLoach Vineyards, Frenchie Winery, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset, Lockwood Winery, Lyeth Estate, Raymond Vineyards and Wattle Creek Winery.
Boisset has secured long-term contracts on the 523-acre Ramal Vineyard of Buena Vista and will add other Sonoma sourced wines including reserve-level offerings. A sparkling will will commemorate Buena Vista's role as California's first sparkling wine maker, and Boisset will add a red blend, The Count of Buena Vista, named for "Count" Agoston Harazsthy.
Boisset has introduced a number of eco-friendly packaging innovations to the market including a barrel-to-barrel program that delivers wine in small wooden barrels, each of which holds a 10-liter bag of Pinot Noir. Fog Mountain is packaged in a 1-liter PET bottle and the company is introducing California Rabbit red and white blends packaged in 500 ml Tetra Paks.
Boisset's French wine portfolio includes Jean-Claude Boisset, Bouchard Ainé & Fils, Domaine de la Vougeraie, J. Moreau & Fils, Mommessin, Ropiteau Fréres, Jaffelin and Louis Bernard, among others. There are also several French sparkling labels including JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset and even an English sparkling label, Bride Valley.
