Husband-and-wife winemakers Anna Matzinger and Michael Davies produce wines at the Rex Hill facility. Davies has worked a number of places including A to Z Wineworks and Rex Hill and Matzinger was the winemaker at Archery Summit.
Matzinger earned a four-year degree in environmental science from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and decided to become a winemaker. She started her career as a lab technician at Beringer Vineyards in the Napa Valley and went on to work at wineries in New Zealand and Australia. In 1999, she joined the winemaking team at Archery Summit, becoming head winemaker two years later, a post she held until early 2013.
The website is in development. A Pinot Noir is a blend from Three Trees Vineyard and Poco Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills, the Chardonnay from Archery Summit, and a Sauvignon Blanc from the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge.
