Owner and winemaker Ryan Deovlet crafts small lots of La Encantada Pinot Noir and Solomon Hills Chardonnay. He became interested in agriculture while in college study sociology, and headed to Australia as part of the Willing Workers on Organic Farms program. He worked at vineyards in the Hunter and Yarra valleys before hooking up with David Leslie who grew Pinot Noir in the Mornington Peninsula. Back in California, he landed a job as head winemaker at Refugio Ranch in 2008. He started making his own wine and eventually picked up fruit from La Encantada Vineyard, Bien Nacido Vineyard, Zotovich Family Vineyard and Sanford & Benedict Vineyard.
The wines are sold through a mailing list and online at the winery's website.
