Dry Creek Vineyard

Family owned since 1972, celebrating 40 years of family winemaking in 2012. The winery was founded by David S. Stare in 1972, the first new winery in Dry Creek Valley since Prohibition. Today, Dave's daughter, Kim Stare Wallace and her spouse, Don Wallace, have taken over operation of the winery.

Bill Knuttel was the winemaker from 2003 to 2011 and was replaced by Tim Bell in January 2012. Tim has more than 20 years of winemaking experience at such wineries such as Kunde Family Estate and Freemark Abbey.

A single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, DCV10, is offered. Multiple other warm-climate varietals are produced with Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Zinfandel especially noteworthy.

The tasting room is open daily from 10:30 - 4:30.
