Owner and winemaker Trent Moffett grew up in Napa Valley around his family's Livingston Vineyard. He launched his own negociant wine label, C&T Cellars, in 1993. The first vintage for Moffett Vineyards label was 2005 with the release of a red wine blend, a Syrah and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Trent is working with consulting winemaker Jennifer Rue from Miner Family Winery to produce the wines.

A Pinot Noir is produced from Santa Maria Valley under the Moffett Vineyards C&T label.
