Tremani

A tiny producer of Russian River Valley wines that is the result of a partnership formed in 1997 by the Hansen family. Fred Hansen established plantings of Chardonnay in 1989 and later Pinot Noir on the family farm est of Santa Rosa. Tremani Vineyards planted Pinot Gris and more Chardonnay. Grapes were sold to area wineries. In 2001, the Hansens decided to try their hand at making wine with their own grapes. Pinot Gris was the first wine and Pinot Noir followed in 2002. All family members have other jobs.
