Puma Road

Ray Franscioni is a third generation farmer from Monterey County. The various Franscioni vineyards provide grapes for many well-known producers including Kendall-Jackson, Mer Soleil, Morgan and Cru.

Limited release varietals under the Ray Franscioni Wines range of labels include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris produced from the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA under the Puma Road label. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cache are produced from vineyards in San Benito County under the Pedregal label. A third label, Lilia, is reserved for white wines. The wines are reasonably priced and sold on the website.

In 2014, Franscioni acquired Pessagno Winery which was at the heart of the River Road Wine Trail. Steve Pessagno passed away in February 2012.

A tasting room is located at 32720 River Road in Soledad.
