Sivas-Sonoma

Sivas-Sonoma pays homage to the legacy of Samuele Sebastiani, August Sebastiani and Don Sebastiani who were pioneers in Sonoma wine country. Donny Sebastiani's great-grandfather, Samuele, began with bulk wine, his grandfather, August, produced and bottled jug wines, and his father, Don, championed individual varietal wines. Donny Sebastiani established Don Sebastiani & Sons with his father Don as a negociant wine company. Sivas-Sonoma is a trademark of Don Sebastiani & Sons.

The name Sivas is the modern-day Turkish derivation of :Sebasteia," the city named for Emperor Augustus two thousand years ago and the historical origin of the Sebastiani surname.

The reds winemaker is Greg Kitchens and the whites winemaker is Gloria Mercado-Martin. Among the varietals offered, is a Sonoma Coast AVA Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
