Alta Pavina has older vines (1985) of Pinot Noir planted near Ribera del Duero. The vines are planted at 3,300 feet altitude in calcareous soils on the Duero River.

The vineyard director is Claude Bourguignon, who worked many years for Domaine Romanee-Conti in Burgundy.

The single Pinot Noir is Citius, "The Spanish Pinot Noir."
