Pace Family Wines

Randy and Kate Pace can trace their winemaking experience back to 1981. Between 1982 and 1999, they worked in the Napa Valley, with Randy at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars as Chief Operations Officer. The couple moved to the Santa Ynez Valley in 1999 where Randy as General Manager of Bridlewood Winery for three years. Randy returned to Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in 2001 for three more years. In 2006, he started the project that in 2008 became Terravant Wine Company in Buellton, CA, where he is currently General Manager.

The assistant winemaker is son Ryan, a graduate of Cal Poly's program in vine and viticulture.

Primarily a Rhone varietal producer, Pace does offer a Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir in 2013.
