Owners Jeff and Thérése Lotman developed a fondness for the best Burgundies and this led to a love affair with California Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs since moving to California 15 years ago.

The log is based on a vintage wooden barrel stay that hands in the owner's home in Brentwood, CA.

The first released Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were from the 2009 vintage. Vineyard sources since have varied, but include Amber Ridge in the Russian River Valley and Split Rock in the Sonoma Coast.

The wines are sold through a mailing list and through the online store on the website.
