Akiko and John Trohan release only one, small lot, ultra premium Pinot Noir each year. The 2013 Ouroboros from Keller Estate Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast (48 cases) won a Double Gold Medal at the 35th Annual San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Amore Fati is a Latin phrase loosely translating to "love of one's fate." It is used to describe an attitude in which one sees everything happening in one's life, including suffering and loss, as good.
The label was founded in 2009 by the husband and wife team who released their first vintage of Pinot Noir from Amber Ridge Vineyard in the 2010 vintage.
The wine is produced in an urban facility in San Francisco. Not open to the public.
