Fairsing Vineyard

Mary Ann and Mike McNally established Fairsing Vineyard in the summer of 2005, when the family acquired harvested forestland in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon. 18 acres of vines were planted by October 2006 and vineyard development continued at about 5.5 acres per year, to reach the current 38 acres of Pinot Noir and 2 acres of Chardonnay in production. Cultivars include Pommard, Wädenswil, and Dijon 777, 115 and 114 for Pinot Noir, and Dijon 95 and 76 for Chardonnay. The vines are tightly spaced with an average of 2240 vines per acre.

Fairsing means "bountiful" in ancient Gaelic, reflecting the plentiful resources of the estate site.

Robert Brittan (Brittan Vineyards, Wonderlea) is the winemaker.

A tasting room in Yamhill is open March 1 to December 31, 7 days a week.
