Martin Ranch Winery

Thérèse and Dan Martin were born and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains area. Thérèse"s family roots come from the agricultural area of Corralitos, CA, and Dan's family roots come from the Carmel Valley, where the first Martin Ranch was established in the early 1900s. Currently, the couple own and work their property in Gilroy, CA, in the Santa Lucia Highlands region.

The first vintage was 1997, and the first commercial crush of 625 cases was in 2002. In 2003, they built a small winery and increased production to 2,000 cases per year. In 2005, they expanded the winery building, and today they produce over 3,500 cases of red and white varietals.

The Martin Ranch wines are offered under the Thérèse Vineyards and J.D. Hurley labels. The winery is open for tasting to the public every first and third weekend of the month (including Friday) from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
